Somewhere Between Chaos and Silence

Somewhere Between Chaos and Silence brings together figural sculptures that merge stoneware, porcelain, and light. The figures are marked by accumulated growths that alter their posture and presence, complicating the boundary between the body and its surroundings. Light moves across their surfaces with a calm, steady glow, revealing and withholding through moments of tension and stillness.

Somewhere Between Chaos and Silence was a solo exhibition presented at Baltimore Clayworks, Baltimore, MD (2022). The installation occupied an area of approximately 8 × 12 feet within the gallery space and featured works made from stoneware, porcelain, and light.
